
Methods For Obtaining Geo Codes (Latitude and Longitude) for Your Listings
Step One:
Go to http://itouchmap.com
Click Latitude Longitude icon

Step Two:
Enter Street Number
and Street Name, plus Zip
Code
Click Go


Step Three:
Select, right-click and copy Latitude coordinate

Step Four:
Revise Listing
Information
At the Geo-codes section, select Yes to
Override map coordinates on Listing Data Input form

Step Five:
Right-click and paste Latitude into Latitude field entry on Listing Data Input form

Step Six:
Repeat select, copy and paste for Longitude (Note - Be sure to include the preceding negative sign)

Step One:
Go to http://gspvisualizer.com
Enter Street Number and Street Name, plus Zip Code
Click Geocode it button

Step Two:
Select, right-click and copy Latitude and Longitude into Listing Data Input form

Maps.Google.com
Note: This method may seem a bit
awkward, however I have found that Google Maps will sometimes display addresses
that the other two sites will not
ALSO,
this method is good for finding geo coordinates for locations that may be too
"new" (as in a new development) to be displayed.
You can zoom in to up the
general area and then click where you know the location to be and then follow
the rest of this method.
Step One:
Go to http://maps.google.com
Enter Street Number and Street Name, plus Zip Code
Click Search Maps button

Step Two:
Click
above map at right

Step Three:
Click once on Paste HTML to embed in website line of text
Right-click and copy entire line of text

Step Four:
Select and right-click the address entry, then paste the Paste HTML to embed in website line of text

Step Five:
Arrow over using the left arrow until you come upon the Longitude and Latitude coordinates
Click in front of and enter a space of each coordinate

Step Six:
Enter a space in front of each coordinate

Step Seven:
Select, right-click and copy Latitude and Longitude into Listing Data Input form

Warning: This method requires the downloading
and installing of Google Earth on your computer. Some systems may not have
sufficient space or resources to run this intensive application
Step One:
Go to http://earth.google.com
Step Two:
Download and install Google Earth

Step Three:
Open Google Earth and enter an address (ie. 5405 Market 44512)

Step Four:
Center your mouse pointer over indicated address center point
Note the Latitude and Longitude values displayed at bottom of window
Caution:
Longitude and Latitude are expressed in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds
(ie. 37°19'55")
NEOHREX utilizes coordinates in decimal degree values
Be sure to record coordinates exactly as displayed, ie. 41°02'37.31" N, 80°39'46.02" W
NOTE: YOU WILL CONVERT THESE VALUES IN STEP SIX

Step Five: (optional)
Zoom in for even more accurate coordinates

Step Six:
Proceed to an online GPS Latitude / Longitude Coordinate Converter, such as the following...

Enter Degrees Minutes Seconds where indicated and
then click the Convert To Decimal button

Step Seven:
Enter coordinates into their respective field entries on Listing Data Input form
WARNING: DO NOT FORGET TO ADD A NEGATIVE SIGN PRECEDING THE LONGITUDE VALUE
iPhone Compass
Step One:
Purchase iPhone
Step Two:
Drive to location
Step Three:
Pull out your iPhone, open the Compass app and write down the Latitude and Longitude
Caution:
Longitude and Latitude are expressed in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds
